Dr Kelum is an experienced and dedicated General Practitioner with a strong commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered family medicine. He has been practicing full-time as a General Practitioner in Sri Lanka since July 2015, providing continuous care to individuals and families across all age groups.

With extensive experience in managing acute and chronic medical conditions, Dr Kelum offers holistic care tailored to the diverse cultural, social, and healthcare needs of the community. His clinical practice includes the management of complex chronic diseases, preventive health care, mental health support, and minor surgical procedures.

Dr Kelum has a particular interest in chronic disease management, women’s health, paediatrics, and geriatric care. He is skilled in assessing both physical and mental health conditions, formulating evidence-based management plans, and coordinating care with specialists when required. He is also experienced in the initial management of medical emergencies and ensures timely referral to tertiary care facilities when necessary.
